This plant nursery cafe is a worthwhile visit, but not an ideal place to work out of due to limited seating.

This cafe is located within the Terra Bella plant nursery where the 8 meets the 5 freeway. Parking is very limited with several spots that will tow your car if you park there, so check the signs when you do park. The cafe itself is really nice, situated within the plant nursery itself so you’re surrounded by greenery as soon as you walk in.

Lots of specialty drinks are available at a cost of about $7 before tip. Seating is extremely limited, with 7 tables total and three seats at each table. There’s some bench seating but not ideal for working on. If you do choose to work out of this cafe, ensure your laptop is fully charged as there are no outlets available.

Download speeds were incredibly fast, so that’s a plus. I wouldn’t take a video call here as background music is somewhat noisy and there’s nowhere to really get away and set up your laptop.

I was able to get a few hours of work done here, but definitely felt pressuring eyes from those in line hoping to be able to sit down and enjoy their coffee. While this cafe is really unique and worth a visit, I wouldn’t suggest working out of this location due to limited seating.
